Where an MSRP is not explicitly listed by the manufacturer, we use the manufacturer's published price.

Efficiency and range figures are primarily sourced from Natural Resources Canada.

Where Natural Resources Canada data is not available for a vehicle, we use manufacturer published figures.

How our calculators work.

Our calculators produce estimates by combining manufacturer specifications with authoritative and publicly available sources, including:

• U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
• U.S. Department of Energy
• Regional electricity providers
• Published research studies

Inputs you provide, such as driving style, season, province, or charging setup, are applied to these sources to model an estimated result.

Estimated charging costs are based on publicly available electricity pricing. Home charging estimates use residential electricity rates published by regional utility providers. Public charging estimates are based on average pricing collected from multiple public charging networks and locations within each province. These values are reviewed and updated periodically to reflect changes in publicly available pricing.

The estimates provided by our tools are intended for informational purposes only. Actual vehicle performance, charging costs, and energy consumption will vary based on driving conditions, weather, vehicle configuration, electricity pricing, and other real-world factors.

Sourced data and modelled results.

Vehicle specifications, pricing, and efficiency figures are reported as published by the manufacturer or the authoritative source. We do not adjust these values.

Calculator outputs are modelled estimates. They are intended to support comparison and planning, not to predict the exact performance or cost of a specific vehicle.
